Important Note Regarding Internet Filters
Woodmont College supports our students’ choice to filter their devices, in line with their personal values and standards. Our website is approved by TAG and is usable with most Internet filters.
Using a filter sometimes conflicts with more sophisticated processes on the computer. We have found that a majority of technical issues students experience have to do with the issues stemming from using a filter.
To overcome this problem, Woodmont has partnered with Techloq, a popular filter, to create a customized whitelist for all Woodmont students. Woodmont has compiled a list of links you will need to access, that will automatically be open on your Techloq account if you list yourself as a Woodmont student. To access this list, list your Techloq account under Woodmont College’s reseller account.
Please note: Woodmont College does not have a business relationship with Techloq or any other filtering company and does not make a profit on students who sign up with them.
Important: Techloq only works with Windows devices (Windows is also required for the Woodmont College platform)
